I am taking a Dream Class & one of my favorite quotes is by St. Irenaeus, "The Glory of God is a man fully alive." That is my quest. To be fully alive with the Glory of God. I find that I have experienced this full aliveness at times, however, there are often times I don't. I believe it is possible & that I am on the path to get there & that it is a choice that I must make daily. As I spend my time reading, worshiping my Creator, journaling, writing, drawing & spending time in nature, photography & quality time with friends & family & even in lifes many challenges & at work connecting with others. This is where I find I become alive. This is a life that is full & beautiful. This is where I choose to invest my life & as I do, the rewards have been & will continue to be great.

Sometimes, like the Glory of God, no words can be expressed to describe it. As in this 'Morning of Glory' rising upon our mountains, in a fleeting moment it can be captured & in silent awe the beholder stands to receive its copious splendor.

Glory is defined in the Hebrew Language as: Splendor, copiousness, glorious, honourable, magnificence, excellency, majestic, to shine, to be clear, celebrate, sing, be worthy of praise, grandeur, triumph & bravery.
It is then no surprise that when I see a meadow of wildflowers I experience these emotions. Song of Solomon speaks of God's Glory in intimacy & love, "You have called me a garden, Oh I pray that the breath & wind of Your Spirit may blow upon my garden, that it's spices may flow with abundance for you in whom my soul delights".

The Glory of God is seen in His creation. When I worship Him in spirit and in truth He makes Himself known. It is in intimacy with the Living God that I can experience Him and His Glory. I can then go from glory to glory. I praise You O God that You reveal Yourself to me in nature and when I come to You with my whole heart. Like David in the Psalms, I cry out to You & You answer me. "O send out Your Light and Your Truth, let them lead me; let them bring me to Your Holy Hill and to Your Dwelling." Psalm 43:3

I come to You Lord & am still.
I rest and wait patiently for You.
I fret not & cease from my anger.
For I choose Wisdom, Understanding & Knowledge.
Come & fill the chambers of my heart with Your Presence that is Precious & Rich.
You have called me & chosen me for Your Purposes.
I come to You, the Water of Life & am Refreshed & Strengthened by Your Love!

2011 & Fasting

Mike & I started a 21 day fast on Jan 3rd. We read Jentezen Franklin's book on Fasting & are expecting God's hand to move mightily on us, our children & grandchildren's behalf. We want to seek the face of Jesus, to experience Him more fully, to taste & see that He is good! We have been watching the Bay of the Holy Spirit Revival & have been stirred up to The Fire of God that has been burning forth from Nathan Morris in Mobile, Alabama. We believe the Lord is pouring out His Holy Spirit on this nation & our little town of Kremmling, CO!
Mike & I are committed to praying & worshiping daily from our new 'Bethany Worship Home' atop the Gore Pass. We feel so blessed & privileged to be here & look forward to all that God is doing & the people He will bring to us to be refreshed & restored in God's Glory! The Lord is 'turning up' His Holy Spirit and we want to be ready & prepared for Him to show up in our lives in His intensity, passion & fire! John says in Revelation 19:10-14 that He was to "Worship God!" and after that "Heaven opened, and behold, a white horse appeared! The one who is riding it is called Faithful & True...His eyes blaze like a flame of fire...and the Troops of Heaven follow Him on white horses...from His mouth goes forth a sharp sword...on His garment and on His thigh He has a name inscribed, King of Kings & Lord of Lords." Come Lord Jesus!

I am excited about my new life up here in Kremmling, Colorado. It truly is a 'Diamond in the Rough'! I believe that Mike and I have been born for such a time as this. The Spiritual atmosphere up here is ready to burst, just like the coming Spring. I anticipate 2010 to be a year of BREAKTHROUGH for us and that these past five years of disappointment & failure will be used together for GOOD and for God's Glory. As the snow falls and the temperatures drop below freezing I feel I have been conditioned through lifes challenges to be resiliant to its 'frosty bite'. A quote I read this morning said this: "This is true joy of life--being used for a purpose that is recognized by yourself as a MIGHTY ONE..." My heart seeks that which is my purpose for being here. It is expressed in who I have become through my intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. My new Website, 'Behold and Become' will contain the precious pearls that have come at a great price in my life. Praise be to God! As Psalm 40:1-3 so beautifully states, "I, Patrice, waited patiently and expectantly for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me out of a horrible pit, of tumult & destruction, out of the miry clay, froth & slime, and set my feet upon a rock (The Rock, Jesus) steadying my steps and establishing my goings. He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to my God."
