I am excited about my new life up here in Kremmling, Colorado. It truly is a 'Diamond in the Rough'! I believe that Mike and I have been born for such a time as this. The Spiritual atmosphere up here is ready to burst, just like the coming Spring. I anticipate 2010 to be a year of BREAKTHROUGH for us and that these past five years of disappointment & failure will be used together for GOOD and for God's Glory. As the snow falls and the temperatures drop below freezing I feel I have been conditioned through lifes challenges to be resiliant to its 'frosty bite'. A quote I read this morning said this: "This is true joy of life--being used for a purpose that is recognized by yourself as a MIGHTY ONE..." My heart seeks that which is my purpose for being here. It is expressed in who I have become through my intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. My new Website, 'Behold and Become' will contain the precious pearls that have come at a great price in my life. Praise be to God! As Psalm 40:1-3 so beautifully states, "I, Patrice, waited patiently and expectantly for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me out of a horrible pit, of tumult & destruction, out of the miry clay, froth & slime, and set my feet upon a rock (The Rock, Jesus) steadying my steps and establishing my goings. He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to my God."

Whew! Where have I been? As my good friend, Karen Miller, has so wisely stated, "You have to go out & live your life!" Well, I've truly been living it! I must say it is everything I desire except in the financial arena, however, there is a shifting for the good & "I will reap a Harvest if I do not quit!"
Mike & I have been watching the three part series of "The Lord of the Rings". There are so many spiritual analogies & places that impart understanding & strength to me. The most recent one is in the "Return of the King". It is such a visual to my circumstances that I can draw strength & tenacity, from. Aragon has just been given his authority to be King with a sword that was restored from the previous fallen King. He is also told that his beloveds life will be determined by his success to fully take back his kingship. The next scene is him mounting his horse with his sword & his 'triumphal entry' into the Mountain of Doom. He, like David with Goliath, runs into the Mountain proclaiming, "I do not fear death!" When he is confronted by Death itself, he speaks with the authority of a King that these tortured souls fulfill an oath spoken long ago. When there is unwillingness to obey & questioning of his postion, he pulls out his sword to show he truly is King. Aragon then turns to face the thousands of souls with the question, "What say you?" Today I step out into my authority as a "King & a Priest" in God's Kingdom to take back the 'financial land' that is rightfully ours. I will not fear death (of self) and I will ask the question, "What say you?!?", and I will SUCCEED! I am such a Warrior, it's in my Spiritual DNA, and a favorite verse of mine is from Psalm 108:13 "Through & With God Patrice shall do valiantly, for He it is Who shall tread down her adversaries."

The World's Greatest Salesman

I read an inspiring little book that can bring BIG results called "The World's Greatest Salesman" by Og Mandino. He gives the reader 10 Secret Scrolls that are guaranteed to bring success IF ACTED UPON and I follow his instructions.
At the core of these is the foundational truth, "Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough."
1)Today I begin a new Life. I will form good habits and become their slaves.
2)I will greet this day with (He Who Is) Love in my heart.
3)I will persist until I succeed.
4)I am Nature's (God's) greatest miracle.
5)I will live this day as if it is my last.
6)Today I will be master of my emotions.
7)I will laugh at the world.
8)Today I will multiply my value a hundredfold.
9)I will act NOW.
10)I will pray for guidance, "Guide me God".
I will read these words in silence when I arise. Then I will read the words in silence after I have partaken of my midday meal. Last, I will read the words again just before I retire at day's end, & most important, on this occasion I will read the words aloud. I will repeat this for 30 days, 1 scroll at a time and when I have lived each scroll for 30 days and my reading has become habit. Herein lies the secret of all man's accomplishments, (and mine as well).

As a Man Thinketh

This morning I wrote down my Top 10 Key Life Bible Verses:
1) Galations 2:20 I am Crucified with Christ, I no longer live, but Christ lives in me
2) Philippians 4:6-9 All that is True, Lovely, Noble, Praiseworthy, think on these things
3)John 10:10 Ephesians 3:14-21 Life Abundantly, He will do exceedingly above what I ask/think
4)Hebrews 11 Faith is the substance of things hoped for , the evidence of things not seen
5)Proverbs 31 I am a Capable, Intelligent and Virtuous Woman who's value is far above rubies
6)Hebrews 4:9-12 Strive to enter into His Rest, His word is Alive & Active Sharp Dbl edge sword
7)Pslam 91 I dwell in the Secret Place and am Protected by the Most High God
8)Mathew 11:28-30 When I am Heavy burdened, His yoke is Easy & Light
9)Deuteronomy 28 I have set before you Life & Death, Blessing & Cursing, Choose Life this Day
10)1 Corinthians 13 Matthew 22:36-40 Faith, Hope & Love but the Greatest of these is Love
There are many more, however, these are my foundation. As I renew my mind to them daily, they become as the air I breathe. A key truth is repetition, like water, sun, soil, air a Plant can grow. These words then come alive in me to produce good fruit. Thus, "As a Man (PJ) Thinketh so he/she is".

My Eyes and My Heart will be there Perpetually

When Solomon finished the building of the Lords House and the Kings House and ALL he desired...The Lord appeared to him a second time and said "I have heard your prayers & supplication..I have hallowed this house..and put My Name (and My Presence) there forever,
MY EYES AND MY HEART SHALL BE THERE PERPETUALLY...". It took Solomon 20 years to build both houses... All of this is a parallel to what the Lord is building in my life. To no longer work under, what Gary Keesee calls the "Earth Curse System" of hard labor and survival. Solomon had much because he had the Wisdom of God. The two houses weren't built instantly, it took 20 years! Wisdom wants what is best and enduring, to not rush and give up. As the Proverb goes, "Steady plodding brings prosperity." When I get frustrated on this 4 year business plan, I am reminded that it takes long term vision as I make this paradigm shift in my thinking. In order for things to change, I have to change! The reason I want change is because He Who's "Eyes and Heart" are within me, perpetually, prompts me to build something greater, and lasting, and beautiful! I continually hear the Lord saying, "Stay the Course" because that is what it will take to attain my BHAG'S & leave a Legacy of Wealth!
Perpetually is defined as: lasting, forever, enduring, constatnt, sustained, endless, inexhaustable, uninteruptable, eternal, never ending! Now that's what my heart seeks & desires.

When Esther was given, through Mordecai, the Decree to Destroy her people the Jews, that he might show her and charge her to go to the King, make supplication to him and plead with him for the lives of her people, she feared for her life. "Any person, be it man or woman, who shall go into the inner court to the king without being called shall be put to death." Then Mordecai answered, "Do not flatter yourself that you should escape in the king's palace more than any other Jew. For if you keep silent...you and your father's house shall perish. Who knows but that you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this and for this very occasion?"
Esther became Queen the moment she called for a three day fast and said these words, "Then I will go to the king, though it is against the law; and if I perish, I perish."
I, too, have been born for such a time as this. I like, Esther, will be faced with standing for what I believe, what will I DO? As the story concludes, Esther obtained favor in the king's sight and he held out the scepter..."So Esther drew near and touched the tip of the scepter. Then the king said to her, 'What will you have Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given you, even to half the kingdom.'"
Is it worth stepping beyond my fear into the "king's court" whatever it may be? Absolutely.
